trading as helios careers

valeriusluca13@gmail.com

for access to the digital services and online community of helios careers.

2. Services Provided

helios careers offers a paid digital membership for private individuals. The membership includes:

  • Access to digital courses on career, job applications, and interviews

  • Resume templates and a digital resume guide

  • Example sections and structure guidance for cover letters

  • One resume review per month (non-cumulative)

  • Weekly live webinars (online participation)

  • A downloadable PDF “Job Search Resources Guide”

  • A personalized, step-by-step job search plan

  • Access to an online community (hosted via Circle)

All services are provided digitally. No physical delivery takes place.

3. Contract Formation

(1) The user must register and purchase a paid membership to use the services.

(2) The contract is concluded when the user clicks the “Place binding order” button during the checkout process.

(3) A free trial period of up to 3 days may be granted before the start of the paid subscription. During the trial period, no charges apply unless the user actively chooses to upgrade to the paid plan. The transition to the paid plan is not automatic. After the trial period, the user will be informed and can decide whether to switch to the paid plan.

4. Prices and Payment

(1) The applicable prices are those displayed at the time of the order (including VAT).

(2) Payments are processed through the external provider Stripe. The terms and conditions of Stripe also apply. The user agrees to the Stripe TOS when completing the payment.

(3) The subscription renews automatically unless canceled before the next billing period.

5. Duration and Termination

(1) The membership is for an indefinite period and automatically renews monthly.

(2) The user may cancel at any time via their account or by email. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

(3) No partial refunds will be issued for unused time unless a technical issue prevents access to the services. In such cases, the user must notify the provider within 7 days of the issue to request a refund.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Its Expiry

6. Right of Withdrawal and Its Expiry

(1) Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days.

(2) This right expires prematurely if the user:

  • Explicitly agrees that Helios Careers begins providing services before the withdrawal period ends, and

  • Acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is lost once the contract is fully performed.

(3) This information is clearly provided during the checkout process.

(4) The withdrawal right applies when the user transitions to the paid plan after the trial period. If the user withdraws within 14 days, this withdrawal is only valid if the service has not been fully rendered. If the user agrees to the service starting before the end of the withdrawal period, the right of withdrawal is lost once the service is fully provided.

(5) For clarity, accessing core features, such as digital course modules, attending a live webinar, downloading exclusive content (e.g., templates or guides), or receiving a personalized service (e.g., resume review), will be considered full or partial use of the service. Once any of these services are accessed, the right of withdrawal will be forfeited.

7. Usage and Community Conduct

(1) Content may only be used by the registered user. Distribution, reproduction, or sale of content is prohibited.

(2) The community is intended for respectful and constructive exchange. Offensive, discriminatory, or promotional posts are not allowed.

(3) In case of violations, Helios Careers reserves the right to suspend access or terminate the membership.

(4) Community Guidelines: All members must adhere to the Community Guidelines aimed at creating a respectful and safe environment. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Respect and Kindness: Members must treat each other respectfully and kindly. Harassment, discrimination, or offensive language will not be tolerated.

  • Constructive Feedback: Feedback should always be helpful, supportive, and constructive.

  • Privacy and Confidentiality: The privacy of others must be respected, and personal information must not be shared without consent.

  • Supporting the Community: Encouraging a collaborative and supportive atmosphere is essential.

  • Topic Relevance: Discussions should focus on career development, job searching, resume writing, interviews, and related topics.

  • No Spamming or Self-Promotion: Excessive self-promotion, advertising, or spamming is prohibited.

  • Intellectual Property: Sharing content or resources that one does not have the rights to is prohibited.

  • Professional Language: A professional tone should be maintained in all communications.

(5) Violations of these guidelines may result in access suspension or termination of membership, depending on the severity and recurrence.

8. Availability and Service Changes

(1) Helios Careers strives for high availability, but technical failures or maintenance may occur.

(2) Services and offerings may be changed or updated for the purpose of improving the user experience.

9. Liability

(1) Helios Careers is only liable for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

(2) No guarantee is made regarding employment outcomes or job offers. The user is responsible for their application decisions.

10. Data Protection

(1) The provider processes personal data in accordance with the privacy policy.

(2) The online community is hosted via the platform Circle (USA). Data processing is GDPR-compliant and based on a data processing agreement.

11. Final Provisions

(1) German law applies. The place of jurisdiction – where legally permissible – is the provider's registered office.

(2) If any provision is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
